Ace Stud announce Shaquille’s fee for the 2026 breeding season

Ace Stud are pleased to announce that Shaquille will stand at a fee of £10,000 January 1st, SLF for the 2026 breeding season.

Standing at Ace Stud on behalf of Yulong Investments, Shaquille was crowned Cartier Champion Sprinter and Longines World’s Best 3YO Sprinter in 2023. Trained by Julie Camacho, he was unbeaten in seven starts and was the emphatic winner of the Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, as well as beating the older horses in the Gr.1 July Cup at Newmarket. He also won the Listed Carnarvon Stakes at Newbury earlier that season. Bred by Martin Hughes and Michael Kerr-Dineen, Shaquille stems from the family of Champion older mare and top-rated older sprinter Danehurst (Danehill).

Paul Curran, Ace Stud’s Bloodstock & Racing Manager said: “Champion European Sprinter Shaquille has been really well supported by top breeders since retiring to stud. He has covered more than 275 mares in his first two seasons, including Ace Stud’s own quality band of broodmares.

“We have reduced his fee and changed his covering terms to January 1st Special Live Foal in order to give breeders the opportunity to use an exciting young stallion at an attractive and affordable price.

“The feedback on his first foals has been very positive and we eagerly await them going through the sales ring at Goffs, Tattersalls and Arqana in the coming weeks.

“Exciting times lie ahead under our new Ace Stud banner and we look forward to breeders getting in touch with our team to discuss their breeding requirements for 2026.”
