Four more foals by Shaquille went through the ring at Arqana’s Vente d’Elevage with the highlight being Lot 269 selling for €105,000.
The colt is out of Aurora Gold (Frankel), who is a half-sister to the multiple Gr.1 winner Midday (Oasis Dream). She is also closely related to the Gr.1 performers Sun Maiden (Frankel), Hot Snap (Pivotal) and Nighttime (Wootton Bassett).
He was sold by La Motteraye Consignment and got knocked down to the Ace Stud team.
Shaquille’s average for his first foals that sold at Goffs, Tattersalls and Arqana is currently sitting at more than £60,000, which is over 4x his initial stud fee.
