Soldier’s Call sired a new two-year-old Stakes winner with Arugam Bay (ex Time Stands Still) storming home to land the Listed Coolmore Stud Tipperary Stakes over 5f for trainers Eddie & Patrick Harty and owner/breeder M D Roe at Tipperary on Wednesday.
This was the filly’s fourth start, having previously won over 6f for connections at Fairyhouse in June. She is out of the five-time winner Time Stands Still (Dandy Man), who has had a filly foal by Lucky Vega this year.
Other noteable recent runners for the sire include Kaadi (ex Ruby Girl) who placed in the Listed Tattersalls Prix de Bagatelle over 1m at Chantilly last Saturday, as well as new two-year-old winner Army Bugler (ex Elegant Drama) winning on his third start for trainer Warren Greatrex at Leicester on 26th June.
