Three-year-old filly Kaadi (ex Ruby Girl) charged to the front and won the Listed Prix la Sorellina with ease over 1600m for trainer Patrice Cottier and owners Gousserie Racing at La Teste on Sunday.
Having previously placed in eight of her 11 black-type outings, including the Gr.3 Prix d’Arenberg at Longchamp, which her sire won in 2018, today’s result secured Kaadi her first black-type win. She is a half-sister to the Hong Kong Gr.3 January Cup winner Happy Together (Dragon Pulse), who was previously named Hotel Wren in Europe.
July has been a successful month for Soldier’s Call already with 16 winners on the board, as well as Stakes-placed Muddy Mooy (ex Hot To Rock) who came second in the Listed Prix de la Pepiniere over 2100m at Chantilly on 20th July.
